Responsibilities:
Key person taking care of the main work barges and other major equipment on a regular basis within the organisation and with the JV partners.
To keep a track of barge certifications and classifications and liaising with the society to maintain the barge as per the society requirements.
To liaise with the major equipment i.e Hammers, ILT's etc suppliers and develop schedules for utilising same for various projects.
To interface with Barge Chief Engineer and develop a plan for the regular maintenance of the barge and other major equipments (Developing PMS).
To interface with the in-house project team and prepare the barge and equipment with the required spares for executing the projects with minimal MDT

Requirements:
Candidate must possess a Diploma or a a Bachelor's Degreein Engineering or equivalent.
At least 10-15 year's of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
It is requires a person who has worked as Barge Chief Engineer / Equipment Engineer previously within an Engineering or Construction environment.
Must have experience in of Marine vessels dry docking.
Must have through knowledge of the equipment, barges and major installation equipments.
