Job description
POSITION: CALL CENTRE AGENT Type of Employment: Fixed Term Contract usually of one year*, standard three month probation period applies.
Location: Waverley, Johannesburg
Type of Call Centre:
24/7 International Call Centre providing helpdesk support to customers in the online marketing industry.
Pre-requisites: a) Candidates must be prepared to work shifts. b) Candidates must have their own transport. c) Candidates must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in the English language and or any other language we may be looking for.
Responsibilities:
Full training is provided for the candidate to be able to perform his/her job efficiently, this does not however include common telephone and customer etiquette training.
Primary Tasks:
Provide telephonic, e-mail and live chat support to customers. Troubleshoot basic IT technical issues. Log call requests with the service desk of software providers and follow up and resolved outstanding calls. Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist Marketing or Finance Departments perform various admin tasks Outbound calling to inactive customers or dormant accounts NB: These above mentioned requirements are non-negotiable.
In addition the candidate will also be required to complete an assessment by Stargaze Media to ascertain their proficiency of the English language.
Requirements
Experience Required:
Minimum six months inbound/outbound Call Centre experience; experience in an International Call Centre would be an added advantage
