The Channel Sales Manager should be an experienced professional with a good network of senior level reseller contacts to accelerate the growth of the disk business in the German speaking territories. The successful candidate will also have revenue responsibility for Eastern Europe and Russia, although the prime focus of the role will be to build the German business.
Key Responsibilities
Achievement of revenue goals and driving growth in the disk business
Recruitment and training of new resellers
Closing end user business, fulfilled through the channel
Pipeline management and weekly status reporting
Developing sales strategies to win business from competition
Distribution partner and reseller management
Working with marketing team to develop innovative programs to drive channel growth
Managing the marketing spend for the reseller channel
Your Qualifications
Demonstrable success selling disk based storage solutions
Excellent understanding of NAS, SAN, replication, business continuity, disaster recovery and CDP/backup concepts
Successful in a channel role, working with key resellers, with experience of working with end user, utilising the direct touch channel model
Well respected in the channel with strong, senior level contacts within the reseller base in Germany
Ability to deliver results, even in difficult circumstances
Ability to work in an US organisation and report internally in English language - strong English language skills
Hard working, willingness to travel extensively
Self starter, motivated and hungry for success
