Cathay Pacific Services Limited (CPSL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd, is developing an air-cargo terminal at Hong Kong International Airport. It is expected to become the largest and most highly automated facilities of its kind in the world. We are seeking individuals of high calibre to join us in this challenging project to plan, build and operate this major facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality checks on the Material Handling System (MHS) electrical and controls or associated works to ensure they are installed, tested and commissioned with industry best practice and are in compliance with specifications and statutory requirements
As directed by the Senior Maintenance Engineer, manage the MHS Contractor(s) to ensure all maintenance works on the MHS electrical controls and related works are conducted in compliance with the prescribed maintenance programme, statutory requirements and good standards; such that they operate effectively and efficiently
Coordinate with Operations team and MHS Contractor(s)' for preventative maintenance time schedule and attend preventative, breakdown and emergency breakdown maintenance. Report, study, and analyse all MHS electrical controls related faults
Liaise with the Engineering Administration Officer in monitoring the proper use of spares by the MHS Contractor(s) and the spares inventory level
Organise, maintain and update MHS drawings archive, Operation and Maintenance Manual and all relevant documentations

Requirements:
Higher Diploma or Degree in Electrical and Controls Engineering or in related disciplines
A minimum of 5 years experience, the majority of which should be in electrical and controls engineering management but with some experience in engineering project and maintenance preferably in a cargo terminal/warehouse environment
A good working knowledge of CLP and IEE rules, EMSD, labour department, health and safety and all related statutory requirements
Knowledge in using AutoCAD
Good interpersonal skills and good written and communication skills in both Chinese and English
