MECHANICAL ENGINEER

•A BE or NZCE in mechanical engineering
•Experience designing industrial machinery (5yrs plus)
•The ability to work at a concept and detailed design level
•Skills in Solidworks
•The confidence to lead and influence

Define product layout and assembly definition, design mechanical assemblies and components using SolidWorks / ProEngineer 3D modeling.
Review concept testing results and access manufacturability of new product.
Design sophisticated fixture and calibration process for high precision mechanical assemblies.
Technical team leader - Provide solution for engineering problems and take initiatives to lead and plan problem solving activities.
Create and maintain engineering documents required for project planning and product development gate approval review.

Assist in tendering process and project management.
Site works, monitor & supervision of installation work, progress, coordination, site inspection & attend meetings.
Understanding of contracts and ensure works in accordance to contract specifications and as per schedule.
Preparation of daily site report/progress report and feedback/report to Project Manager on any site problems.

Preventive Maintenance of mechanical test facilities and auxiliary equipment
Preparation, execution and reporting of 'simple' vibration tests
Member of test team for complex test campaigns
Set-up of shaker, mechanical test set-up, instrumentation
Operation of vibration control systems

Working within a high calibre engineering production/implementation team, in particular within a radiological work environment. Working within Permit to Work and Safety systems. Working within a controlled maintenance regime.
Must be willing and able to work in a teaming environment requiring regular interaction with the client and other contractors.
Ideally, prospective candidates should be security cleared and Radiation Classified Workers.

·         A good recognised Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering
·         Fresh graduates/experienced (1 to 3 years’ working experience)
·         Excellent interpersonal, analytical as well as written and oral communication skills
·         Singaporeans or Permanent Residents of Singapore

Degree in Instrumentation, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with some knowledge in electronic
1-3 years after sales service working experience is an advantage.
Good command and spoken English and writing is preferred.
Possess exceptional energy, commitment and service mind, strong customer-oriented and communication skill, well organized, result-oriented and ability to take challenge of hard work and pressure environment, as well as willing to learn new things
Able to evaluate and find solution to problems
Able to travel to upcountry and overseas for training and conference
