Finance Manager - Chemtura Organometallics GmbH - Lampertheim - Germany

In December Chemtura entered into an agreement to sell its PVC Additives Business subject to completion of an auction process and court approval.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Finance Manager (m/f) to support the PVC Additives business in Lampertheim, Germany.
This position will be responsible for providing strong financial leadership and controlling the German budgeting, closing and forecasting process including treasury, fixed assets and CAPEX in an international accounting and tax environment.

Key Responsibilities
Functional lead of the finance and accounting department
Preparation and review of monthly forecasts, monitoring profitability, budget preparation, product costing, working capital tracking
Provide the monthly, quarter and end-of-year procedures after German and international accounting (US-GAAP)
Tax: responsible for legal compliance with German tax authorities (corporate taxation, filings preparation, German and European VAT claims and Statistics, customs etc.), tax reporting under US-GAAP
Fixed assets and CAPEX: monitoring and accounting of all fixed assets, advising the economical feasibility of strategic capital requests
Accounts receivables: booking of cash received, monitoring of outstanding receivables
Maintain an internal control system e.g. Sarbanes Oxley

Qualifications include
Degree/diploma required (Finance or Accounting major strongly preferred), MBA preferable
Practical finance/accounting experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (German/English)
Precise, structured and 'customer'-focused approach
Ability to analyse critical areas
Ability to work with a broad level of management within a global business
Ability to work autonomously but provide deliverables on time
