Financial Contoller - Robert Walters - Auckland - New Zealand

Looking for an exciting and rewarding contract to begin 2012?
We have a fantastic 4-6month contract in Central Auckland that requires a Financial Controller to start immediately. With proven staff management and large company experience, this role will provide the perfect building block for someone wanting to step up and build on their career. This position will be paying $60 - $65 per hour depending on your level of experience.

Your core responsibilities will include:
•Preparation of the month end accounts and Head Office financial packages
•Variance analysis and management reporting
•Analysis of business unit performance
•Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts
•Budget and forecast preparation
•Preparation and review of tax, FBT and GST returns
•Staff management
•Ad hoc duties

To be successful in this position you must be a highly technical accountant with previous contracting experience. You will have worked at a senior level as well as having performed hands on roles and be happy to do either. You will be CA qualified and have worked in a number of large corporate environments within New Zealand. With the ability to communicate well, you must be able to handle all group reporting duties as required.
