Responsibilities:
Concept development and requirements definition
Performance assessment of used platform
Coordination with project leader
Development of embedded firmware in C and/or assembler in collaboration with hard-
and software engineers
Documentation of product development according to the internal quality system and regulatory requirements
Active collaboration in quality management
Maintenance and servicing of embedded firmware
Collaboration during system integration
Verification and validation

Qualification and skills:
University degree or comparable in electrical engineering/communications engineering
Good knowledge of the basics of digital signal processing
Good knowledge of the principles of wireless communication (layer topology, …)
Experience with embedded C and assembler
(8051 familiy preferred)
Knowledge of serial bus formats and interfaces
(I2C, SPI, RS232)
Knowledge of short range communications devices
(e.g. bluetooth protocol, custom protocols,…)
Knowledge how to establish a development environment with compiler, assembler, debugger, emulator
Communicative personality and team player
Self-reliant, proactive, systematic
and structured working method
Inquisitiveness and willingness to learn
Good English language skills
