Head of Nursery and Learning at Hornsey Road Children’s Centre.

This is an interim post with the possibility of a permanent post from April 2011
Excellent Opportunity for Early Years professional to lead our multi disciplinary nursery staff team which includes early years practitioners and a teacher .

You will be directly answerable to the Mitford Board of Trustees with overall management responsibility for our full time 48 place daycare and education provision for 0-5 year olds which was rated ‘good ‘ by Ofsted in Nov 09.
As a member of the Senior Management Team you will also have an important role in contributing to the development of the Centre as a whole working closely with the Head of Centre.

Hornsey Road Children’s Centre is a voluntary sector partnership provision by Mitford under Fives and Action for Children and is funded by the London Borough of Islington.
Substantial management experience of Early Years provision is essential
You will need to have a relevant EY qualification.

Start date Sept 2010
Salary circa 42K depending on qualifications and experience
Visits welcomed, closing date 23rd July interviews week starting 26th July
