This massive O & G project is offering you the chance to secure a role during a great turning point in the global economy, which means now is the perfect time to take on board this new and exciting opportunity.
This major Joint Venture has been awarded a contract to undertake Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) services to the client on an O&G development project which will continue to be commissioned until at least the end of the 2nd quarter of 2011.
This 100% client owned North WA project was started back in the early 2000’s and will continue until at least 2015 with new phases constantly being undertaken.
The role will be located on the processing plant on the second stage of the project and is adjacent to the condensate storage facilities on the first stage, which is separated by a leased Haulage Road and the storage tanks and condensate export jetty which will be located at on the western side of the project location.
As the Maintenance QC Coordinator you will be site based and support the project quality objectives through the performance of field inspection and to ensure overall compliance to Project Procedure “Preservation and Maintenance of Equipment and Materials”.
Responsibilities will include but not all:
Assist the Quality Engineer in ensuring that the Warehouse Contractors activities are executed correctly.
Liaise with the Warehouse Contractors QC Department on all areas of concern
Attendance at contractors work location for ITP Witness and/or endorsement of inspection and Hold Points (by assigned parties as required by the ITP).
Regular verification and surveillance checks on the Warehouse Contractors Preservation and Maintenance activities to verify compliance to approved Inspection and Maintenance Record Cards and Procedures
Identify areas of concern or opportunities for improvement
Review material certificates for Project compliance
Ensure equipment is stored correctly as recommended by the manufacturer
This role will be offering FIFO to anywhere in Australia, a great roster, bonuses and much more up for grabs.
The position will also require someone who is available to start immediately and meet the following requirements:
A minimum of 8 years experience in the O&G sector.
A minimum 4 years experience working on EPCM projects.
Be able to lead large teams.
Be able to communicate with staff on all levels.
Be able to work in harsh and remote environments.
