Joining this diversified organisation will enable you to utilise your engineering skills across a wide range of products including appliance manufacturing machinery, robotics and laboratory equipment. The organisation is highly regarded within the NZ engineering sector and generates significant revenue from export.
Typically your projects will require you to design from concept through to a detailed level and then get involved with manufacture and potentially installation and commissioning. Projects are likely to range in value from $0.5m to $5m. In some project you may have other engineering staff working for you.
To do this job well you will need:
•A BE or NZCE in mechanical engineering
•Experience designing industrial machinery (5yrs plus)
•The ability to work at a concept and detailed design level
•Skills in Solidworks
•The confidence to lead and influence
