Corporate Information Technology
This position Network Engineer is a member of the Corporate Information Technology department and reports to the Chief Information Officer of Siemens Bangladesh Limited
Job Responsibilities: Active Directory Infrastructure with Windows 2003/2008 operation, maintenance, DNS/DHCP/ TCP/IP
Exchange server 2003/2007 operation, maintenance
System Center/Operation manager/ DPM sharepoint management
Managing WAN(IPLC), LAN and all other communication link of the corporate network and ISP
Ensure smooth and quality User Support for in houses users
IT Project rollout, deployment and management
File/Print Server Maintenance, Experience with Cluster will be advantage
Extensive knowledge with Cisco Switch/Router, and Juniper Firewall Maintenance
Maintain & Troubleshoot Multi platform Server, H/W Devices including RAID /Clustering / Load balancing
Maintain Linux Proxy Server ,Access Control System and CCTV
Antivirus Administration
Create & Manage Website
Ensure proper documentations and reports of all the IT services
Ensure the Information Security, BCP and IT DRP

Educational Requirements
Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering orequivalent from a reputed university

Experience Requirements
Minimum 4 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
At least four years performing progressively in responsible job roles in the field of Information Technology
Excellent in depth knowledge on Exchange 2003/2007 Server and
Active Directory Infrastructure is a must
System Center 2007 / Sharepoint 2007 / SQL 2000&2005 / ISA Server / Linux / Veritas backup Exec / DPM
MCSE, CCNA/CCNP certification will be preferred
Exposure to ITIL V3 would be an added advantage
Knowledge on Software Architecture & development
Fluency in both written and spoken English is mandatory
Candidate should be hard working, energetic, team player and proactive
Capable to provide services beyond clients' expectations by seeking information about the real underlying needs of the client, providing insights, and recommending actions to address these needs
Innovative, self driven, target oriented attitude
Should possess a strong presence of mind combined with
Leadership qualities and problem solving skills
