Job Description / Responsibility
General objective of the position:
To ensure correct medical and nutritional care to the patients and to follow the evolution of the patients in the primary health care centre (PHC).
To ensure that children/pregnant and lactating women are fitting the admission criteria when admitted in Ambulant Therapeutic Feeding Centre (ATFC).
To take emergency measures for critically ill patients.
To ensure that the working place/ clinic is always hygienic and clean

SPECIFIC TASKS:
Dispense the medical treatment if required to do so and assure that first dose is given in clinic level.
Take part actively in preparing physical inventory of the dispensary and in the regular ordering for the dispensary
Do wound dressing with respect to hygienic rules in the ATFC and PHC
Perform simple laboratory investigations if required to do so as instructed by supervisor
Assure the application of the EPI-program to the patients who fall in the criteria and assure vaccination to patients admitted in ATFC and PHC
Assist in the collection of the data and preparation of monthly reporting
Monitor the appetite test, together with HP, the condition of children on RUTF (in ATFC) and inform doctor in case of any problem
Participate actively in training sessions offered and meetings held
Help colleagues in the organization of the daily work in collaboration with the supervisor of ATFC and PHC

Educational Requirements
B.Sc in Nursing

Experience Requirements
Minimum 2 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
At least 2 years of professional experience
Experience in survey (nutritional, food security, health care, ...) is a plus
Good contact and able to manage a team
Organizational skills
Bengali and good command of English
Flexibility and adaptability to difficult situation
