Anaesthetic Nurse / ODP

Healthcare professionals are currently working with a highly renown and prestigious NHS hospital in East Anglia, to recruit enthusiastic and passionate nurses to join their theatre nurse team.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Anaesthetic Nurse or ODP. The successful applicant will join a team of highly dedicated professionals, working across five operating theatres fully equipped to carry out a full range of transplant, cardiac and thoracic operations.

Procedures undertaken include heart and lung transplantation, valve repair and replacement, mechanical cardiac assist device implantation, coronary artery bypass grafts, and a wide variety of thoracic operations and endoscopic procedures.

JOB ROLE
* Provide high quality, effective care to all patients, by assessing care needs and implementing and
evaluating a plan of care.
* Ensuring that competent assistance is provided to the Anaesthetist.
* Ensuring all equipment and instrumentation is available before anaesthesia is administered.
* Position and prepare the patient as required by the surgeon and anaesthetist.

REQUIREMENTS
* RGN or RODP
* At least 2 years post qualification experience working in this discipline

SALARY & BENEFITS
£25,472 to £34,189 per year depending on experience.
