Pharmaceutical Formulation Manager - Belgium

A global biotech company is currently seeking an experienced formulation / analytical development scientist to step into a management position based at their HQ in Belgium. This exciting company is currently enjoying great success and growth and it is therefore an ideal time to be joining their team.

You will be responsible for directing the company's formulation studies whereby you will be the pivotal member of the company providing technical expertise and leadership within formulation development. You will play a key part in all stages of formulation development including designing / characterising new formulations (transferring / scale up of these to manufacturing level), analytical method development validation and stability testing of APIs as well as finished drug products. In this senior and diverse role you will also liaise with various departments in order to discuss strategy and study plans in order to get new products ready for regulatory submission, approval and launch.

To be considered for this position you must have significant industry experience in formulation development coupled with a solid background in analytical and biochemical characterisation for biologics. You will have had hands on experience with stability programs as well as physical testing of APIs, excipients and finished drug products. Finally you should also have strong skills in analytical method development, validation and feasibility studies.
