The Pre-Sales Manager supports sales in all phases of customer acquisition (pre-sales and sales phases) and in building long-term customer loyalty (post-sales phase) with his or her detailed product know-how.
Main Responsibilities:
The Pre-Sales Manager consults with the client to pinpoint his needs and proposes a solution that meets those needs. He builds up a long term relationship with the customer, maintains opportunities, contacts and helps the sales to manage the pre/post sales process. Furthermore he drives and delivers the evaluation and technical qualification of the customer opportunity with the support of other departments like Development, Product Management and Consulting. The Pre-Sales Manager develops technical strategies for solutions that support the business objective of the clients and presents and demonstrates those convincingly as well as he is always informed about the current product portfolio of the company and is able to map and apply it according to the business needs of the customer
The role requires significant interaction with clients.
Activities:
Design, creation and execution of customer-specific presentations
Coordination, preparation and execution of customer-specific product demonstrations
Coordination, preparation and execution of customer-specific workshops
Creation, checking and revision of replies to requests for proposals
Checking and revision of customer-specific offers
Design and creation of customer-specific documents
Documentation of customer feedback
Support in analyzing requirements for projects
Support sales planning and client strategy
Support in handover to project team
Qualifications:
University degree or similar experience
Telecommunication networks (architecture, components, protocols, interaction)
Rating, charging and billing (prepaid and postpaid)
At least 8 years working experience
Very good written and spoken English
One additional language
Good knowledge of preparing offers
Very good presentation techniques
Experience in international business relationships
Experienced in MS Office office products
Knowledge in Billing Surroundings
