For its site in Herentals, Belgium we are looking for a:

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
 
Role and responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the implementation of product development projects with the purpose of modifying existing products (for reasons of cost savings or business maintenance) and / or develop new products (business growth) and this for the Pentair aqua / Pentek– residential filtration product ranges.
You will develop solutions and implement plans related to product development projects, follow up on progress and provisional results and make proposals / recommendations to adjust planning when necessary.
You create or supervise the creation of all necessary documents (SKU’s, BOM’s, drawings, work instructions, product certifications, …) related to the product.
You determine the technical specifications to safeguard the product quality acceptance criteria.
You will report to the EMEA Product Manager, based in Paris.
Your time will be dedicated more or less as follows: 40% to project management, 30% to engineering, 30% to administration.

Profile:
Industrial Engineer Electromechanics with a minimum of 3 years product development experience
Fluent with 3D-CAD, preferably SolidWorks
Well organized, structured, disciplined and autonomous
Editorial skills
Knowledge of SAP is a plus
Fluent in Dutch and English, French and German are a plus
Fluent with MS Word, Excel, possibly Access
Willing to travel occasionally
