Project Manager - RDRS - Kurigram - Bangladesh

Job Description / Responsibility
The Project Manager (PM) will act as the focal point at the CLP-IMO project office. S/he will be responsible for the overall coordination, planning and management of all project activities of CLP. S/he will be responsible to make the field implementation/specific operational plan and accordingly mobilize the project staff ensuring optimum utilization of human resources to achieve the project objectives. S/he will spend significant time in the field checking and supervising the field work, and enabling staff to achieve their responsibilities. Further s/he will liaise with the local government administration, Union Parishad (UP) bodies, CLP District and Secretariat staff.
The main responsibilities of PM (CLP) will be as follows:
Planning, Monitoring and Reporting:
Make the field implementation plan following CLP guideline;
Monitor and supervise the work of all CLP project staff;
Assist the project staff in preparing specific field implementation plan;
Submit the monthly/quarterly/annual work plan to CLP;
Compile the monthly/quarterly/annual progress/monitoring report and submit the same to CLP secretariat/CLP district office.
Ensure optimum utilization of human resources (project staff) to achieve the project objectives;
Provide necessary feedback and support for improving staff performance;
Assess staff performance and recommend actions;
Take necessary action for purchasing project inputs including ATP purchase;
Organize meeting/seminar/workshop at District and Upazila level as per implementation plan;
Facilitate organizing staff development training;
Ensure maintenance/proper use of project resources including motorbike and others;
Ensure disbursement of salaries following the payroll; and
Approve leave of sub-ordinate staff following organisation guideline.
Coordinate with different units of CLP;
Make coordination with local administration, UP and Executive Director and other seniors staff;
Ensure field level inter-coordination/linkage among different units of CLP.
Ensure maintenance of office files, documents, records, and other supporting materials, office security and safety;
Ensure that all the sub-ordinate/project staff are on duties as per action plan;
Participate in the meeting called by local level administration, Head Office and CLP authorities.

Educational Requirements
Masters in any discipline.

Experience Requirements
Minimum 5 year(s)

Additional Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years working experience in any reputed NGO in which 2 years in senior management positions.
The incumbent should have experience in similar nature of jobs, expertise in report writing, a demonstrated ability in facilitating project implementation, monitoring, supervision, training and reporting. Must have a good track record of staff management and coordination.
Coordination and collaboration skill with GO-NGO is also a requirement.
Should have good command in both written and spoken in Bangla and English. Computer skills MS word, Excel is mandatory.

Salary Range
TK. 33000
