Senior Agency Sales Executive - Johannesburg - South Africa

Sell innovative advertising solutions covering the whole Cinema experience to current and new clients, including both Agencies and Marketers.
Meet targets set by National Sales Manager
Achieve individual sales targets for 35mm, Digital and Foyer mediums. The whole cinema experience
Realise maximum income from respective portfolio
Develop and maintain existing portfolio through excellent client service
Maintain/increase market share

New business development through direct clients
Formulate yearly business plans, evaluate on a quarterly basis and present monthly
Consistent new business drives/prospecting/develop new business
Achieve monthly KPI's
Precise reporting as per defined standards. Weekly reporting on all sales calls, competitor activity and general market intelligence
Present a professional and positive image as a sales representative
Build good relationships with clients internally and externally
Effective communications with sales management - keeping them updated and informed
Ensure the minimum call rate set
Ensure "yield" on revenue sold is at a profitable level at all times
Prepare, follow up and continuously update a sales action plan
Deliver what we promise - ensure we get back to clients timeously and accurately
Flexibility in meeting clients needs - ability to negotiate a win/win business solution
Develop knowledge of company and competitor products
Ensure knowledge/understanding of client's business - fully comprehending the sales process
Ability to resolve complaints and queries effectively and to do so as far as possible without referral to management and with minimum conflict
Prepare and present presentations, whether verbal or audio visual
Ensure smooth running of all administrative procedures pertaining to scheduling, programming, productions and finance
Innovative and pro-active - expending time and energy on creative solutions to meet clients needs
Competitive and enthusiastic - going the extra mile to win business from competitors
Develop overall knowledge and expertise of all above the line media especially television
Present interim and post campaigns analysis to all Golden Reel advertisers on a quarterly basis
Attend client and industry functions on a regular basis

Requirements
Matric qualification. Tertiary qualification in Marketing an advantage
Minimum of three to five years Agency Sales Experience
Experience in selling to ad agencies, marketing manager, brand managers
Good working relationships and sound knowledge within the Media Sector in Johannesburg
Computer literacy (MS-word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Explorer)
Own transport with Drivers License
Proven and stable track record.
