Our client has undertaken the construction of numerous radar surveillance stations throughout Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced Site/Project Manager to manage, plan and control this project from conception stage to client handover.

The Position:
Reporting to the Project Director You will undertake a very hands on proactive approach to manage all aspects of building and construction of remote projects, from road construction to site building. You will be responsible for overseeing key areas of equipment installation, civil works and mechanical teams. You will manage all onsite teams and assure time deliverability stays on schedule.

Skill Sets:
Experience in managing multiple discipline teams.
Implement work schedules and reporting
Experience in road construction, maintenance and repair
Geotechnical, OH&S, council approvals
Plan work schedules
Liaise and manage contractors,
Monitor quality of incoming equipment
This position requires your excellent communications and persuasion skills, as you will be involved in supervising very complex projects, requiring your commercial acumen and technical ability to resolve and implement successful outcomes to achieve delivery within optimum time frames.

Qualifications:
You must be tertiary qualified in engineering. You will have proven experience in construction /civil management. You will be required to demonstrate at least 5 years of high level project management in civil and mechanical work.
Relocation / onsite accommodation will be provided. You must be prepared to travel extensively, nationally and internationally to remote locations. A very unique opportunity to secure a career with a multinational, who has secured its footprint in the Asia Pac region.
