Job Description:

We are looking for a self-motivated and high performance oriented individual to join its ranks of quality control.

Your role will be to lead test initiatives and participate actively through the entire product development lifecycle including overall design, coding and quality assurance of our products: web, mobile, web services / back-end systems and several Linux based multimedia devices.

You will also provide expert technical insight to the development team, while guiding the design of the overall system, ensuring it is both technically sound and meets business requirements and timeline.

Responsibilities:
- Create and execute test plans ensuring consistency between specifications
- Ensure communication and documentation of software / hardware issues
- Validate fixes for technical issues found
- Work with management to define product vision then gather requirements, break down and prioritize components to derive product requirement documents
- Ensure that timely and ideal implementation is achieved while tracking the status of each project: balance workload, scheduling, assignment of work, review of project efforts and removal of impediments
- Provide technical and analytical guidance to the development team
- Ensure the quality of the developed product through the use of automated tests
- Identify performance bottlenecks in applications and improve
- Develop, test and maintain key features of existing and new products

Technical Expertise:
- Creation:
   - And execution of software / hardware tests
   - Of automated tests
- Notions of man-machine interface
- Knowledge of Databases, MySQL Language and Linux
- C, C++ and C#
- Bash scripting knowledge
- JAVA
- Knowledge of Electronics
- Leading Test initiatives and resources

Assets:
- Selenium, PHPUnit and Javascript
- Jira
- Notions audio and LabView
- Coin-op Industry
- Experience in managing external resources

General Criteria:
- Bilingual French / English
- Fast learner
- Attention to details
- Autonomous and creative
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good problem solver, analytic
- DEC in Computer Science or relevant diploma
- Minimum 5 years experience related to Quality control or relevant experience
