Requirements
•A Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent
•Proficient in either one or more of the materials (metal, wood and plastics) processing
•Good working knowledge of PCs and Windows network
•Good interpersonal and communication skills
•Ability to work independently and as a team player
•Able to handle both materials workshop and administrative work
•Experience with GeBIZ and SAP systems

Responsibilities
•Prepare teaching materials for Design and Technology (D&T) workshop practical sessions and workshops
•Assist in the management of the D&T teaching workshops and electronics laboratory, including keeping of inventory  and sourcing for and purchasing of teaching materials, machines and equipment for practical classes
•Perform general maintenance of the facilities, bench tools, machines and teaching resources and equipment in the D&T workshops and electronics laboratory
•Prepare risk assessment documents for D&T workshop practical sessions and implement Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
•Provide logistical support to postgraduate and undergraduate students of NSSE intheir research/project work in the electronics and plastics processing area
•Participate in Innovation & Quality Circle (IQC) projects and perform any other duties as assigned by the Head, Natural Sciences and Science Education including providing assistance in related science laboratories
