Technology Services Manager - CLP POWER HONG KONG

Founded in 1901 as China Light and Power Company Limited in Hong Kong, CLP Group has grown from a Hong Kong-based power utility into a leading investor and operator in the Asia Pacific Region's electricity market. We are looking for a high calibre professional to lead the Technical Services Team in Group Information Technology. Reporting to the Head of Group Planning, Control and IT Operations, the appointee will be responsible for the following duties:
• Provide infrastructure project delivery and support technology services for office computing, IT infrastructure and applications to the CLP Group
• Develop business case, and direct all technology services related new implementation, major upgrade, and continuous improvement
• Recommend acquisition of technology services related implementation and support solution, vendors, tools and services
• Develop and maintain effective and efficient technology services management process
• Provide responsive technology services support with effective recording, reporting and problem resolution within service levels. Analyse root causes of technology services requests and drive for continuous improvement
• Prepare and manage budgets and other resources; ensure production and operations services performance level up to company standard
• Maintain and develop the core technology skill sets and staffing levels to deliver high quality of technology services required by the CLP Group
• Work with internal key business and technical stakeholders including Business Improvement Team, Technology and Architecture Team and Applications Development and Support team to regularly review the technology services portfolio
Requirements:
• A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems or equivalent
• At least 10 years' IT implementation and solid experience in Microsoft platform (Windows, SQL Server, BizTalk, Exchange and SharePoint)
• Possession of professional qualification and industrial knowledge on MCSE / MCTS / MCITP, ITIL, PMP, ITSM, DMS, Mobility solution, and ISO quality standard is an added advantage
• Sound knowledge of SAP technologies and integration methods. Solid experience with SAP installation and upgrade, support packages upgrade, system monitoring and support is preferred
• Hands-on experience on SAP technologies and Microsoft platform, with active participation and contribution throughout the full project life cycle in one or more large-scale SAP and Microsoft based IT projects implementation
• In-depth understanding and experience of developing, implementing, managing and supporting IT systems, network and infrastructure, both hardware and software
• Strong leadership and project management skills with demonstrable experience. Independent, self-motivated and innovative with good technical, analytical, problem solving, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills so as to lead, motivate and foster teamwork
• Self-initiated, positive attitude with high sense of responsibility
• Fluent in written and spoken English
